Though I would regret
Yet this day that ends the spring
Has come at last now—
Even to the evening hour
Of this final day of spring.

91. The End of Spring
There was a man who grieved deeply even over the passing of days and months.
The poem was composed by that man around the end of the third month.
Even if the days pass without any special event, once they are gone they never return, and one only grows older. The poem may be lamenting this quiet sorrow.
