show that you still think of me:
that you saw my house,
do not say it, do not tell,
while others are there to hear

- At least as a sign that you still care for me, do not say you ever came to see my house, for others are listening.

Book Fifteen Love Poems V 811
Headnote: "Topic unknown."
The speaker asks a former lover, if he cares for her at all, not to say in front of others that he once visited her house. Following the groundless rumor of the preceding poem, it expresses fear that a finished love will become the talk of the world.
In the first line dani means "at least this," wanting nothing more.
The second line, "as a sign you care for me," is her minimal wish.
The third line, "my house," names the place he once visited.
In the fourth line na ... so expresses prohibition: do not say you saw it. The poem breaks here.
In the last line kikaku, the nominalized form of kiku, means "while people are listening," giving the reason for the prohibition by inversion.
