Book Ten Autumn Miscellaneous Poems 2213
Headnote continued from the preceding poem: "On Autumn Leaves"
This poem notices that the autumn bush clover field at home has turned color with the dew before dawn these days. It has nearly the same content as 2182; whereas there the clover's lower leaves turned, here the whole field of clover turns, so the two are variant poems.
The first line, "of these days," is the same opening as 2182.
The second line, "with the dew before dawn," is the same as in 2182.
The third line, "of my dwelling," names the place.
The fourth line, "the autumn bush clover field," names what turns.
In the last line, "irozukinikeri," "keri" expresses realization.
