Not knowing whether I have done something wrong or not, I can only feel that you are shunning me.
Commentary
Book Nineteen Miscellaneous Love Poems 1231

Headnote: "When a man who had not visited for a long time came at last, and the woman did not come out at once"
The poet says that, not knowing whether he has done anything wrong, he feels as if he is being shunned. The headnote shows that a man who had long stayed away came at last, and when the woman did not come out at once, he composed this. Saying nothing of his own fault in staying away so long, he complains of her coldness, claiming he cannot tell whether he has done wrong and yet seems to be treated coldly.

First line, "ayamachi no," means "a fault," whether he has done the woman some wrong.
Second line, "aru ka naki ka o," means "whether there is one or not."
Third line, "shiranu mi wa," means "I who do not know."
Fourth line, "itou ni nitaru," means "like being shunned," taking her delay in coming out as if she disliked him.
Final line, "kokochi koso sure," means "such is the feeling I have," with the binding particle "koso" resolved by "sure," the perfective form of the verb "su."
