Book Fifteen Love Poems V 942
Headnote: "Topic unknown"
The poem says that because my heart that loves without limit is so deep, I turn out not even to feel the pain of the other's coldness. It sings of a state of heart in which love runs so deep that the other's coldness no longer registers as pain.
First line, "kagiri naku," means "without limit, endlessly." It answers the first lines of 971, "kagiri naki," and 978, "kagiri naku," in this book, all singing of a love without bounds.
Second line, "omou kokoro no," means "the heart that loves."
Third line, "fukakereba," means "since it is deep."
Fourth line, "tsuraki mo shiranu," means "not even knowing the pain of coldness."
Final line, "mono ni zo arikeru," means "so it turns out to be," concluding with "keru," the attributive of the exclamatory "keri," in answer to the binding particle "zo."
