the cherry blossoms of this house?

Book Nine Poems of Lament 547
Headnote: "Composed on seeing the cherry blossoms at a house whose master was gone"
Composed on seeing the cherry blossoms at a house whose master had died. Even without seeing them as a keepsake of the one who planted them, who would not grieve over this house's cherry blossoms, the poet asks. Even ordinary blossoms are a pity to lose, and if these are the keepsake of the master who planted them, they are all the more precious, as the poem implies.
The author, "Fujiwara no Norinaga Ason," was the son of Fujiwara no Nakakiyo. A provincial governor who served as Governor of Settsu among other posts, he is known as one of the Six Poets of Waka.
Following 545 and 546, it is another poem remembering the dead through spring blossoms.
First line, "ueokishi": "shi" is the attributive of the past "ki," "who planted," the late master who planted the cherry.
Second line, "hito no katami to": "katami" is a keepsake of the dead, and the cherry is seen as the late master's keepsake. The next poem, 548, also uses the word in "katami ni kitaru."
Third line, "minu dani mo": the particle "dani," "even without seeing it so," implying "how much more if seen as a keepsake."
Fourth line, "yado no sakura o": "yado" is the house, the masterless house of the headnote. Like "chirinishi hana" in 545, it remembers the dead through spring blossoms.
Fifth line, "tare ka oshimanu": the rhetorical "ka" closes with "nu," the attributive of the negative "zu," "who would not regret them? Everyone would."
